Miss Palestine To Carry Gaza’s Voice At Miss Universe Pageant

Miss Palestine Nadeen Ayoub is set to make history as the first woman to represent Palestine at the Miss Universe pageant. Her participation marks a significant milestone for the country, symbolizing both national pride and resilience on an international platform.

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) confirmed that Nadeen Ayoub will compete in the Miss Universe 2025 competition, scheduled to take place in November in Bangkok, Thailand. The 27-year-old, who was crowned Miss Palestine in 2022, will join contestants from over 130 countries.

According to MUO’s Head of Communications, Miguel Ángel Martínez, the event celebrates “diversity, cultural exchange, and the empowerment of women.” He added that the organization proudly welcomes delegates from all over the world, each carrying their nation’s unique story and identity.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Miss Palestine expressed her gratitude and purpose for taking part in the global competition. “I am honored to announce that for the first time ever, Palestine will be represented at Miss Universe,” she wrote.

Ayoub said she wishes to “carry the voice of a people who refuse to be silenced.” She emphasized that her presence at Miss Universe is not only about beauty but also about representing strength, hope, and resilience. “We are more than our suffering — we are the heartbeat of a homeland that lives through us,” she added.

Her decision comes during a time of great hardship for Palestinians, especially in Gaza, where thousands have lost their lives. Supporters around the world have praised Ayoub for using her platform to highlight the struggles and spirit of her people.
