Minister Arora Pakistan Has No Intentions of Attacking Indian Punjab

Punjab Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora Refutes Indian Media Claims, Denies Any Pakistani Attack on Amritsar

Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, has strongly denied claims circulating in Indian media regarding Pakistani attacks on Amritsar and other Indian cities. Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV anchor Nadeem Malik at Lahore’s Liberty Chowk, Arora emphasized that Pakistan has no intention of attacking Indian Punjab, especially given the strong spiritual and cultural ties through Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur Sahib.

“We would never consider attacking Indian Punjab, where our Sikh brothers reside—those who have supported Pakistan from the beginning due to our shared heritage,” Arora stated, labeling the reports as baseless.

He slammed the Indian media for spreading false propaganda, asserting that no such attack has taken place and describing the recent claims as the peak of ongoing disinformation campaigns. “The Indian media must act responsibly and wake up to the truth,” he added.

In contrast, Arora praised the Pakistani media’s approach, noting that it is covering the situation with responsibility—without sensationalism or false narratives.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar revealed during a press conference that India had mistakenly launched four missiles, three of which landed in Amritsar, while the fourth entered Pakistani airspace and was intercepted over Dinga, Gujrat.

Dar accused India of provoking the Sikh community by falsely blaming Pakistan, aiming to stir unrest in Indian Punjab and divert attention from its own internal challenges. “Instead of acknowledging its mistake, India is attempting to manipulate public opinion against Pakistan,” he said.
