The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms and rain for Islamabad and several other regions of the country.
While most areas will remain hot and dry on May 26, evening and nighttime showers are expected in northern and southeastern Balochistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Potohar region, and northeastern Punjab.

Islamabad and nearby areas are likely to receive rain with thunder at night. Rain is also expected in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Khushab, Jhelum, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Sargodha, Mianwali, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, and Sheikhupura.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rainfall is likely in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Waziristan, Bannu, Kurram, Karak, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, Malakand, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, and Abbottabad, with Haripur expecting scattered thunderstorms.
Balochistan cities including Quetta, Zhob, Musakhel, Sibi, Bolan, Kohlu, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Awaran, Loralai, and Lasbela are also forecasted to receive rain, while most of Sindh will experience intense heat and dry conditions.
In Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, thunderstorms, heavy rain, strong winds, and possible hailstorms are expected in some areas.
