Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has strongly dismissed circulating rumors claiming she has been banned from entering the United Kingdom, calling the reports “completely speculative and false.” The claims, which gained traction online, were allegedly linked to her appearance in Indian singer Yo Yo Honey Singh’s music video Jatt Katta.
In a firm statement shared on her social media accounts, Hayat criticized the spread of such baseless news. She emphasized that no ban has been imposed on her, labeling the rumors as “deliberate false assumptions” meant to damage her reputation.

Hayat, a recipient of the prestigious Tamgha-i-Imtiaz and known for her roles in Mere Qatil Mere Dildar, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, and the ongoing drama Dyane, called on media professionals to act responsibly.
