Medical aspirants in Pakistan face significant challenges as ongoing controversies surround the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT). Recently, it was announced that the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur will oversee the test within six weeks, following IBA Karachi’s withdrawal. Provincial authorities are confident that IBA Sukkur will efficiently handle the exam, with around Rs23 billion allocated to ensure smooth administration for students aiming for medical and dental college admissions.
The Sindh government confirmed that MDCAT 2024 would occur within six weeks, giving students a preparation timeline. This decision comes as a major development for the critical exam, which has been under scrutiny following a Sindh High Court order to re-conduct the test within four weeks due to alleged irregularities, including a possible paper leak.
