Massive Fire Destroys 56 Shops at Model Ramzan Bazaar on Jhang Road
A devastating fire broke out at the Model Ramzan Bazaar on Jhang Road, reducing 56 shops selling fruits, vegetables, and groceries to ashes. Rescue teams battled the flames for four hours before bringing the situation under control.

Eyewitnesses described how towering flames rapidly spread across the market, leaving shopkeepers helpless as their goods turned to ashes.
Authorities deployed six fire brigade vehicles to extinguish the fire. Officials have confirmed that the cause was an electrical short circuit.
“The fire started due to an electrical short circuit,” said Muhammad Zahid, in charge of the Ramzan Bazaar. “We have informed the authorities and the Deputy Commissioner about the losses. A report is being compiled to assess damages and possible compensation.”
Despite millions of rupees in losses, there were no casualties reported.
