The Chief Minister distributed flood relief cards among affected families during the event. She said that the rehabilitation process for flood-hit communities has formally begun, marking a new phase of recovery after months of destruction caused by unprecedented rainfall and overflowing rivers.
According to Maryam Nawaz, the floods were among the worst in Punjab’s history. Thousands of homes, acres of crops, and livestock were lost, leaving families struggling to rebuild their lives.
