Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has said that the world’s perception of Pakistan has changed dramatically after India’s recent defeat, calling it a proud moment for the entire nation. Speaking to reporters in Lahore, she praised Pakistan’s unity, resilience, and performance that led to this shift in global opinion.
Maryam said Pakistan had long been underestimated on the international stage, but recent events — especially India’s loss — have reminded the world of Pakistan’s strength and capability. “The world now sees Pakistan as a country that stands tall, confident, and capable of achieving greatness,” she remarked.
She added that this victory was not just about sports or politics, but about Pakistan’s growing influence and renewed national spirit. Maryam also congratulated the people of Pakistan, saying their prayers and support played a huge role in this achievement.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the government is working hard to project a positive image of Pakistan globally, focusing on economic revival, youth empowerment, and regional peace. “We are changing the narrative — from instability to progress,” she said.
Political observers noted that Maryam’s remarks aim to boost national morale and strengthen public unity amid Pakistan’s ongoing recovery efforts. The statement has also gained traction on social media, where many users echoed her sentiments with patriotic pride.
Maryam concluded by saying, “This is not the Pakistan of yesterday — this is a stronger, more confident nation, ready to lead with pride.”
