Maria Butt, the founder of Pakistani fashion label Maria. B, has been accused by Turkish influencer Türkan Atay of not paying for a photoshoot project.
Atay took to social media to express her frustration over the unresolved payment for a shoot conducted in Turkey. She shared that she had provided a detailed quotation to Maria. B, covering all expenses including location and production costs. Despite completing the shoot and promoting the content on her social media platforms, she claims she received only a single payment.

Atay also mentioned that she had clearly informed the brand that her charges were per outfit. However, Maria. B reportedly justified the payment by referring to their usual practice of compensating based on social media reels. Atay criticized the response, highlighting that three months had passed with no resolution.
Calling out the brand for wasting her time, Atay stated, “They treated me unfairly. I deserve to be paid and I won’t collaborate with them again.”
