A man in Sheikhupura killed his cousin, severed his thumb, and used it to withdraw Rs1 million via a biometric ATM service. Police recovered the victim’s body from a car and identified him as the suspect’s maternal aunt’s son.

After murdering his cousin, the suspect removed the thumb to access the ATM account. He and an accomplice were apprehended while attempting to dispose of the body in a canal.
