A man from West Bengal, India, has been arrested for harassing his ex-girlfriend by sending over 300 unwanted cash-on-delivery (COD) parcels to her home after their breakup. The relationship reportedly ended because he couldn’t afford to buy her gifts.
The 24-year-old woman, Nadia, a bank employee, began receiving the parcels shortly after the split in November. Despite blocking her Amazon and Flipkart accounts, the deliveries continued for four months, prompting her to file a police complaint.

Investigations revealed that her 25-year-old ex-boyfriend, Suman Sikandar, was behind the repeated deliveries. He confessed to placing the orders as revenge, citing Nadia’s past demands for gifts and his financial inability to meet them.
Suman also contacted her using unknown numbers, further escalating the harassment. Police have taken action, and he faces charges related to stalking and misuse of COD services. The case has sparked debate about the potential abuse of online delivery systems and the need for stricter controls to prevent harassment.
