Water supply to Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be disrupted for 10 days as Khanpur Dam undergoes maintenance from February 10 to 19, according to an official notification.

Islamabad will face a daily shortfall of 5 million gallons, while Rawalpindi will experience a deficit of 13 million gallons per day. Affected areas include Dhok Hassu, Pirudhai, and Fauji Colony in Rawalpindi, as well as sectors D-12, G-10, G-11, F-10, F-11, and G-9 in Islamabad.
Authorities have urged residents to use water conservatively until the maintenance work is completed.
