Petroleum dealers have warned that more than half of filling stations may run dry, causing citizens and businesses to be concerned.
Jahanzeb Malik, Secretary General of the Petroleum Dealers Association, stated that the supply disruption was a precaution owing to Pakistan’s volatile environment. In response to escalating tensions, OMC has paused supplies in order to protect its employees and customers.

Protests and demonstrations have erupted across the country in response to the detention of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. OMCs’ ability to supply petroleum products has been hampered by roadblocks, traffic congestion, and violence.
