M2 Lahore-Islamabad Motorway Closed Due to Heavy Fog

Thick fog has blanketed parts of Punjab, causing significant disruptions to inter-city travel. Motorway M-2 has been closed for all kinds of traffic from Babu Sabu Interchange to Thokar Niaz Baig due to extremely low visibility.

Motorway Police have issued an advisory urging citizens to avoid traveling during the early hours, as road closures have been enforced for safety reasons. The dense fog is not only affecting traffic on the motorway but also disrupting flow on National Highways.
