Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a special Basant celebration at Liberty Chowk in Lahore on February 7, formally inviting citizens from all walks of life to take part in the festivities. In a message shared on social media platform X, the chief minister encouraged families, youth, and visitors to experience the joy and vibrancy of one of Punjab’s most iconic cultural festivals.
The chief minister said the Liberty Chowk event will remain a focal point of Basant celebrations in the provincial capital. She highlighted that the festival will showcase Punjab’s rich cultural heritage through a variety of activities designed to reflect the province’s traditions, colors, and festive spirit.
