Lawyer In Sheikupura Allegedly Kills Client Over Unpaid Fees

A lawyer in Sheikhupura, Punjab, allegedly fatally shot his client during a dispute over fees. Identified as Muhammad Akram, the lawyer and his client, Nayabat Ali, were returning from Islamabad when the argument erupted.

The altercation escalated, leading the lawyer to open fire, resulting in Nayabat Ali’s death at the scene. Additionally, Ali’s daughter and another relative sustained gunshot wounds but are reportedly in stable condition after being transported to a nearby hospital.

Following the incident, the police arrested the lawyer, filed a First Information Report (FIR), and initiated an investigation into the matter.
