The market spans 74 acres and can accommodate 25,000 large sacrificial animals, including cows and camels, and up to 150,000 smaller animals.

It includes 20 large sheds equipped with fans for ventilation—an upgrade aimed at improving animal comfort. A quarantine center has been set up to prevent the spread of diseases among livestock.

Facilities for traders include 20 spacious residential rooms. The market is also equipped with a mosque, veterinary clinic, bank, ATM, washrooms, and a tuck shop.

For smoother livestock transport, loading/unloading bays and a dedicated truck center have been developed.

Maryam Nawaz also presented shields to the teams who played a key role in executing the project successfully.
