Man Killed in Alleged Police Firing in Sundar Area, Lahore
A man was killed in an alleged police firing incident in the Sundar area of Lahore on Thursday.
Police said officers on routine patrol signaled the man to stop, but he reportedly opened fire on them. The suspect, believed to be around 52 years old, was injured when police returned fire.
He was taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment but died from his injuries. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.
Authorities are investigating the case, including checking the man’s criminal record through the Criminal Record Office (CRO).
