inDrive passenger escapes with food worth Rs45,000 in Lahore

Another incident of fraud involving the ride-hailing app inDrive has been reported in Lahore, where a rider fled with food and costly utensils worth around Rs45,000.

According to the FIR, Harbanspura police registered a case against the driver following a complaint by Hamad Hassan. The complainant had booked a ride to send food to his relatives in Model Town. After receiving the items, the driver canceled the ride, and repeated attempts to contact him through the app went unanswered, causing concern for the family.

The suspect allegedly made off with both the food and utensils, leaving the victim with significant losses. Authorities have launched an investigation, while the complainant awaits justice in this latest case of fraud linked to an online taxi service.
