Lahore High Court Orders TO Close Cafes In Johar Town

The Lahore High Court has taken a significant step in addressing the prevailing smog crisis by mandating the closure of cafes in Johar Town by 10 pm. The objective behind this decision is to regulate activities that contribute to air pollution, particularly during the evening hours.

Exceptions to this rule include weekends, during which cafes are permitted to operate until 11 pm. Nevertheless, the court has issued stern warnings, stating that any cafe found in violation of these regulations will be subject to immediate closure.
