The Lahore High Court has granted temporary relief to vape businesses amid an ongoing legal dispute, pausing the crackdown on e-cigarettes and vaping devices.
Justice Anwar Hussain ordered the reopening of sealed vape shops across Punjab while hearing a petition filed by 74 dealers, including Vape Mall. The court barred the provincial government from taking further punitive actions until the matter is resolved.

During the hearing, the Punjab government’s representative failed to justify the crackdown and requested time to submit a detailed reply. The court then issued a stay order and adjourned proceedings until July 3, 2025, naming top provincial officials as respondents.
