The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has issued roll number slips for students appearing in the upcoming matriculation annual examinations. The announcement comes as preparations for the exams enter the final stage across the region.
According to officials, the Lahore Board has completed most administrative arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. A spokesperson confirmed that thousands of students will participate in the examination process this year.
The Lahore Board reported that 284,717 candidates are registered to appear in the matric exams. These students include both regular and private candidates from different districts under the board’s jurisdiction.
Chairman Tahir Javed said that the board has established 880 examination centers to accommodate the large number of candidates. These centers have been arranged in various schools and institutions to ensure easy access for students.
He added that the board is working to provide a fair and organized examination environment. Special attention has been given to maintaining discipline and transparency during the exams.
Regular students can collect their roll number slips from their respective schools or colleges. Institutions have already started distributing these slips to ensure students receive them before the exams begin.
Private candidates will follow a different process. The Lahore Board has made roll number slips available on its official website. Private students can download and print their slips online using their registration details.
Officials have advised candidates to carefully check all the information printed on their roll number slips. Students should confirm that their name, photograph, and examination center details are correct.
If any mistake appears on the slip, students should immediately contact the Lahore Board for correction. This step will help avoid issues on the exam day.
The board has also reminded students that the roll number slip is mandatory for entry into the examination center. Candidates must bring the document with them on every exam day.
