Kylian Mbappe’s much-anticipated La Liga debut with Real Madrid ended in frustration as his team struggled to break down Real Mallorca, resulting in a 1-1 draw. Despite Madrid taking the lead early through Rodrygo, Mallorca equalized in the second half with Vedat Muriqi’s towering header.

Mbappe, who joined Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), was unable to find the back of the net, with Mallorca’s goalkeeper Dominik Greif denying him. Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed disappointment with his team’s lack of balance and defensive performance, noting that they needed to improve their work rate.
Fans were equally critical, with some taking to social media to voice their frustration, labeling Mbappe’s performance as disappointing. The debut was not the start Mbappe had hoped for in his new chapter at Real Madrid.
