Kurulus Osman Show Delays Episode Due To Israel-Palestine Conflit

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In an unprecedented move, the latest episode of the fifth season of the globally renowned Turkish series “Kuruluş Osman” was not aired as scheduled due to the distressing Israeli assault on a Gaza hospital. The series, which explores the historical context of Islamic conquests, had just begun its highly anticipated fifth season a few days earlier, with Episode 133 planned for that ill-fated night. Instead, viewers watched a rerun of the 132nd episode.

The production team of “Kuruluş Osman” quickly addressed the situation on their official Instagram account. They announced a three-day national mourning period in Turkey in response to the tragic loss of numerous Palestinian lives during the ruthless Israeli attack on a Gaza hospital. This mourning period made it inappropriate to broadcast the new episode, leading to the replay of the previous installment on Wednesday night.

Additionally, the Instagram post strongly condemned the Israeli bombing, describing it as a grave crime against humanity, and expressed heartfelt condolences for the innocent lives lost, including children and women. The tragic incident occurred on October 17 when the Israeli military targeted a hospital housing wounded individuals in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 500 Palestinians, including vulnerable children and women, and leaving hundreds severely injured.

“Three days of national mourning will be declared in our country in response to Israel’s attack on the hospital in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of our Palestinian brothers. For this reason, the new episode of our series ‘Kuruluş Osman,’ scheduled to air this evening, will not be shown, but last week’s episode will be rebroadcast. We once again strongly condemn the attacks in Gaza as crimes against humanity and as attacks on children, women, and civilians.”

Notably, Celal AL, a renowned Turkish actor known for his role as Abdul Rahman Ghazi in the globally acclaimed Turkish series “Ertugrul Ghazi,” has voiced his concern about the international community’s silence following a brutal attack on a hospital in Israel.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
