KP Matric Result 2025 Several Schools Report Complete Failure

The recently announced Matric Result in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has raised serious concerns about the condition of public education. Several government schools in the province reported extremely low pass rates, with some showing a complete failure of students.

According to official data from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar, only 151 out of 739 students from government schools passed the exams. This means more than 80% failed to clear their Matric Result.

Some schools showed a 100% failure rate. For example, all students from Government Girls School Haryana Payan in Peshawar failed. Similar results were reported in Government School Beori, Chitral. Out of 30 students from four different government schools in Chitral, only five passed.

In Charsadda, the Women’s Higher Secondary School had 11 out of 13 students fail. At Government Girls School Daman-e-Afghani, 33 out of 35 students failed.

These numbers have raised questions about the quality of education, teacher performance, and the resources available in these schools. Critics have pointed to weak monitoring by the provincial education department as a major issue.

Despite these poor outcomes in some areas, the overall Matric Result across BISE Peshawar was 83.5%. Out of 91,589 students, 76,484 passed, while 14,530 failed.

Private schools performed significantly better. Female students in particular dominated the science group. Fatimah Jugnu secured the top position with 1,180 marks. Other top positions were also claimed by students from private institutions.

Officials and education experts are calling for urgent reforms in the public school system. They recommend better teacher training, improved school infrastructure, and strict accountability to prevent such results in future years.

The full Matric Result can be accessed at www.bisep.edu.pk. Further action from the government is expected following public criticism.
