Lucky Motor Corp. is set to unveil Kia’s latest lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) later this year. This new range will include the EV5, EV9, and updated versions of the Sportage and Sorento.
The Kia EV5, a compact electric crossover SUV, boasts a driving range of up to 665 km. The EV9, a standout in this lineup, is an all-electric SUV designed for up to seven passengers. Built on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV9 offers a spacious interior, ultra-fast charging capabilities, and a long driving range. It supports ultra-fast charging up to 210 kW, allowing for a 15-minute charge that provides up to 249 km of range for the rear-wheel drive (RWD) version and 226 km for the all-wheel drive (AWD) versions. A full charge from 10% to 80% takes just 24 minutes.

Earlier this year, the Kia EV9 was honored with the ‘World Electric Vehicle’ and ‘World Car of the Year’ awards at the 2024 World Car Awards held at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS).
