Kabul-Backed TTP Launches Terror Attacks In Pakistan Asif

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the recent wave of terrorist attacks in Pakistan was carried out by the Kabul-Backed TTP, with assistance from elements inside Afghanistan and India.

Speaking to reporters at Parliament House on Thursday, Asif stated that Pakistan had repeatedly warned that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) could not conduct such large-scale operations without support from Afghanistan. He said the latest incidents had proven Islamabad’s concerns correct.

According to the defence minister, investigations have revealed the involvement of Afghan nationals in previous attacks. “The identities of Afghan nationals have been confirmed,” Asif said, adding that the evidence is now available for the international community to examine. He emphasized that the responsibility for taking action rests with the Afghan government.

Asif accused the Kabul-Backed TTP of receiving material and logistical assistance from within Afghanistan. He also alleged that India was supporting these activities to destabilize Pakistan and disrupt peace in the region.

“The Kabul-Backed TTP is using Afghan soil to target Pakistan,” he said. “India is also backing these efforts to ensure that peace cannot take root in our country.”

The defence minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism, stating that the country had successfully defeated militants in the past and would do so again. “We have won wars before, and we will win the war against terrorism again,” he declared.

He warned that Pakistan would pursue militants wherever they hide. “We will chase them to the last corner of the earth and eliminate them,” he said firmly.

Asif’s remarks came shortly after a terrorist attack at the Islamabad Judicial Complex, which authorities believe was linked to the Kabul-Backed TTP. The government has vowed to strengthen security measures and continue its fight against terrorism with full determination.
