Amid heightened regional tensions, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a defiant message on Tuesday, asserting that the Iranian nation will never capitulate to external pressure. “Those who understand Iran’s history know that the Iranian nation is not one that surrenders,” Khamenei declared in a post on social media.
The message was echoed by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who placed full blame for the current conflict on Israel. “It was Israel that initiated this conflict,” Araghchi said, rejecting claims that Iran provoked the recent hostilities.

Araghchi also praised Iran’s military for its firm response, stating that “our brave forces have continued to punish the Zionist state until the very last moment.” He emphasized that Iran will respond to every act of aggression “with full strength” and vowed continued resistance “until the last drop of blood.”
The leadership’s tone reflected a broader sentiment of national unity, with Iranian officials expressing deep appreciation for the sacrifices of the country’s armed forces. Calls for resilience and resistance have dominated official messaging as Iran positions itself as standing firm against what it sees as unjustified external aggression.
