Karachi Weather Update Heat Now, Rain Later This Week

Residents can expect warm and slightly humid weather at the start of the week, with temperatures climbing to around 32°C on Monday and Tuesday. Despite the early-week heat, rainfall is likely to reach the city later in the week, bringing some relief.

As of March 30, humidity levels remain relatively high at 61%, making conditions feel more uncomfortable. Weather forecasts indicate a gradual rise in temperature over the next couple of days. Monday will see partly cloudy skies, with temperatures ranging between 30°C and 32°C. By Tuesday, clearer skies and sunshine are expected, pushing temperatures slightly higher to between 31°C and 33°C. However, cloud cover is expected to return before rain showers arrive on Thursday.

Across Sindh, most districts are likely to experience dry and partly cloudy conditions on Monday. However, regions such as Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, and Umerkot may receive rain accompanied by windstorms or thunderstorms.

A westerly weather system impacting upper and central parts of Pakistan is expected to continue until March 31. This system is already causing widespread rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms in regions including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Some parts of northeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab may also receive scattered showers.

There is a possibility of heavy rainfall and isolated hailstorms in certain areas, while southeastern Sindh could also witness occasional rain and gusty winds. Authorities have advised residents to stay cautious, remain updated on weather changes, and take necessary precautions against heat and sudden storms.
