Karachi Police Unveil Traffic Plan for Tri-Nation Series & Champions Trophy

Karachi Police have announced a detailed traffic management plan for the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and Champions Trophy matches set to take place at National Stadium Karachi on February 12-14, February 19-21, and March 1.

Key Traffic Arrangements

  • Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open for regular traffic during match days.
  • Alternative routes and designated parking areas have been set up to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Designated Parking Areas

Visitors can park their vehicles at the National Coaching Center and China Ground as follows:

  • From Karsaz – Access via under the flyover
  • From Millennium – Use the same parking areas
  • From New Town – Access National Coaching Center & China Ground

Authorities urge spectators to park only in designated areas to avoid inconvenience. Commuters should plan ahead and follow traffic police instructions for a smooth experience.

Traffic Diversions & Restrictions

Heavy Traffic Diversions
To manage congestion, heavy vehicles will be diverted:

  • Sohrab Goth to NIPA and Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square
  • People’s Chowrangi traffic rerouted via University Road

Roads Closed for Heavy Traffic

  • Karsaz to Stadium
  • Millennium to New Town
  • Stadium Signal to Hassan Square
