Karachi ranks as the 11th most polluted city in the world

The Meteorological Department has reported that in Karachi, winds are currently blowing from the southwest at a speed of 22 km per hour, and the temperature is 32 degrees Celsius. Despite this, the heat intensity feels like 38 degrees. Today’s maximum temperature is expected to reach 37 degrees Celsius, with a minimum recorded temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air stands at 70 percent.

Karachi has also been noted for its air quality issues. It ranks as the eleventh most polluted city in the world and has become the fifth most polluted city in Pakistan. The amount of polluted particles in the air is being recorded at 96 particulate meters, highlighting significant air pollution concerns for the city’s residents.
