Karachi Police Raise Penalties For Traffic Rule Breaches

In a bid to enhance road safety and encourage compliance with traffic regulations, the Sindh police have increased fines for traffic violations. The Karachi Traffic Police, through their official social media platforms, announced that these fines will come into effect for all vehicles starting from November 1.

The penalties for exceeding the speed limit have been raised to Rs. 1000 for cars and SUVs, and Rs. 700 for motorcyclists. Motorists who drive on the wrong side of the road will be subject to fines of Rs. 3000 for car owners and Rs. 2000 for motorcycle riders.
