Karachi Opens First-Ever Zipline for Public

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Sunday, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab officially opened the city’s first-ever zipline at Safari Park, personally enjoying the thrilling ride alongside Deputy Mayor Salman Murad.

During the event, Mayor Karachi, addressing the media, expressed his confidence that the zipline would become a unique attraction for the residents of Karachi. Despite acknowledging financial constraints causing delays in various projects, he shared his vision of establishing additional recreational spots within the city.

Deputy Mayor Karachi, speaking at the event, emphasized the ongoing development initiatives across all seven districts of Karachi. He also announced plans to introduce horse riding at Dino Safari Park in the near future.

The zipline project had been mentioned earlier in August when Mayor Karachi inaugurated the newly developed dinosaur park in Safari Park. At that time, he had announced that the zip line project would soon be operational in the park.

It’s worth noting that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) had announced its intention last year to launch a zipline at Bagh Ibne Qasim near Clifton’s coastline. The announcement was made by the then City Administrator, Murtaza Wahab, who now serves as the Mayor of Karachi. However, the zipline is still pending installation at Bagh Ibne Qasim.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
