Mustafa Aamir murder case Court approves bail of accused Armaghan (1)

A local court in Karachi has approved bail for Armaghan in cases related to the PECA Act and an illegal call centre. Armaghan is also an accused in the high-profile Mustafa Aamir murder case.

The hearing took place in a Karachi judicial court on Monday. The case focused on charges linked to electronic crimes and unauthorized call centre operations. The court reviewed arguments from both the defence and prosecution.

Defence lawyer Khurram Abbas Awan told the court that no challan had been submitted against Armaghan so far. He said the investigation had not progressed despite repeated court dates. He added that the investigating officer failed to appear before the court.

The defence also informed the court that no witness had been presented in the case. According to the lawyer, there is no written complaint on record against the accused. He argued that continued detention without evidence was unlawful.

Based on these points, the defence requested bail for Armaghan. The lawyer stressed that delays in investigation violated legal procedure. He maintained that the accused had cooperated with authorities.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court accepted the bail plea. The judge ordered Armaghan to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000. The bail applies only to the PECA and illegal call centre cases.

The court clarified that the bail does not affect other cases. Armaghan remains an accused in the Mustafa Aamir murder case. That case is being heard separately in the relevant court.

In addition, Armaghan is facing several other charges. These include possession of illegal weapons and alleged money laundering. These matters are currently under trial.

Legal experts say bail decisions depend on investigation progress. Courts may grant relief if delays occur without justification. Each case is treated independently under the law.

Authorities have not yet commented on the court’s decision. Further hearings in related cases are expected in the coming weeks.
