Karachi Board Reveals Schedule For Intermediate Exams

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has released the schedule for the supplementary exams for intermediate students (11th and 12th grades) for the year 2023.

According to an official statement, the supplementary exams are set to commence on Monday, January 15, 2024, and will run until February 6, 2024. The examination sessions will be conducted in both morning and evening shifts.

The morning session papers will start at 8:30 am and conclude at 11:30 am, while the evening session papers are scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm and conclude at 5:00 pm.

These supplementary exams are applicable to students belonging to various groups, including Science Pre-Medical, Science Pre-Engineering, Science General, Home Economics, Commerce Regular, Commerce Private, Arts Regular, Arts Private, Private Candidates, and Home Economics.

In an effort to maintain fairness and transparency during the examinations, the BIEK has imposed a ban on the use of mobile phones and other electronic devices within the examination centers. Additionally, any student found cheating or in possession of a mobile phone during the exam will face disqualification for the next three years.

To facilitate the smooth conduct of the exams, the BIEK has designated 47 examination centers across Karachi. A monitoring cell has been established at the Commissioner’s Office in Karachi to oversee the examination process and address any complaints or concerns that may arise. These measures aim to uphold the integrity of the examination process and ensure a fair environment for all students taking the supplementary exams.
