The announcement came following a meeting between Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh’s Senior Minister for Transport & Mass Transit, Excise & Taxation, Narcotics Control, and Information, and a delegation from the Karachi Bar Association (KBA). Led by General Secretary Ikhtiar Ali Channa, the KBA team highlighted transportation issues among other concerns faced by lawyers.

The proposed shuttle service will operate between Kabootar Chowk and City Courts, offering lawyers a convenient travel option and streamlining their commute.
Memon commended the KBA’s role in upholding democracy and the rule of law, recognizing their contributions as invaluable. He also highlighted the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to lawyers, reflecting the visionary leadership of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
Zulfikar Ali Bhutto emphasized the essential role of lawyers in safeguarding democratic principles and ensuring justice for all, advocating for the rights of the marginalized and the independence of the judiciary. Benazir Bhutto introduced several judicial reforms to bolster the legal profession.
Aligned with the policies of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, the PPP’s provincial government in Sindh pledges to address lawyers’ concerns. The shuttle service initiative signifies a significant stride in supporting the legal community in the region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
