In a separate incident, authorities at Karachi Airport apprehended 11 individuals attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas with the intention of begging.
During a routine operation, the Federal Investigation Agency Immigration detained the suspects just before they were set to board flight PK711. The group included Shahid, Mujahid, Zafar, and eight women from Punjab, who were intercepted before departure.
Investigations revealed that the suspects had submitted fake return tickets and falsified hotel bookings. Initial inquiries indicated that their true intention was to beg in Saudi Arabia.
After their arrest, the suspects were handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further legal action.
