Rawalpindi Tragedy: Three Dead, Two Injured in Kahuta Gunfire

Three people lost their lives while two others were injured in a shooting incident during a family dispute in the Nogran area of Kahuta Tehsil.

Police reported that unidentified assailants opened fire, instantly killing three individuals and wounding two. Upon receiving the alert, Kahuta police and rescue teams rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area, and began collecting evidence.

The deceased were identified as Naseer, Basharat, and Shehzad Akbar, while the injured, Shehzad Ali and Ghazanfar Khan, were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that the victims and suspects were relatives, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the dispute.

Taking notice of the incident, Rawalpindi CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani directed the SP Saddar to submit a detailed report and ensure the immediate arrest of those responsible.

Preliminary findings suggest that the gunfire erupted during a heated argument, leaving three people dead and two injured. Police stated that all evidence has been secured and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
