Indian actress and dancer Shefali Jariwala, widely recognized for her breakout performance in the 2002 hit remix “Kaanta Laga,” has tragically died at the age of 42.
As per Indian media reports, Shefali suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on Thursday night. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, along with three others, rushed her to a hospital in Mumbai, but she was declared dead on arrival.

While an official cause of death has yet to be confirmed, preliminary reports point to a heart attack.
Shefali gained instant fame with “Kaanta Laga” and went on to appear in popular reality shows like “Nach Baliye” and “Bigg Boss 13,” earning a loyal fan following. Her sudden passing has shocked the entertainment world and deeply saddened her fans and colleagues.
