Job opportunities announced by Denmark for International Workers

Denmark is currently facing a shortage of skilled labor across various sectors, prompting authorities to seek foreign workers to fill a total of 110 job positions.

In response to this pressing issue, the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has updated the Positive List, which comprises professions for which Denmark actively seeks foreign workers. The revised Positive List aims to alleviate the ongoing labor shortage and encompasses a total of 110 job openings. Among these, 72 positions fall under the Positive List for People with Higher Education, while the remaining 38 belong to the Positive List for Skilled Work.

Job Opportunities for Highly Educated Foreign Workers include roles in military work, management, natural science and engineering, healthcare, teaching and educational work, and more.

For Skilled Foreign Workers, Denmark is actively seeking professionals in various fields, such as science and engineering, health, business and administration, legal and social sciences, cultural and related professions, information and communication technology, technician work, and building and related trades.

Applicants offered a job from the Positive List for People with Higher Education can apply for a Danish residence and work permit under this scheme. Eligibility requires possessing the required educational qualifications and having a confirmed job offer before applying for a Danish work visa.

Denmark is also actively seeking highly skilled workers to fill a substantial number of positions. Asylum seekers who secure a job from the Positive List for Skilled Work are also eligible to apply under this scheme.

Positions include roles in science and engineering, health professionals, business and administration, legal, social, cultural, and related professions, information and communication technology, technician work, and building and related trades.

The country is seeking to fill positions such as surveying and mapping technician, paramedic, sales consultant, legal clerk, chef, welder, CNC-operator, mechanic, electrician, and more. The diverse range of job opportunities reflects Denmark’s effort to address its labor shortage by welcoming skilled professionals from around the world.
