Rehman also highlighted various national crises, including issues faced by the people of Balochistan, rising inflation, and land grabbing in the region. He condemned the high electricity bills as “inhuman” and unaffordable for ordinary citizens and businesses, noting that even Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has acknowledged the burden of these bills. Rehman reiterated that Jamaat-e-Islami has consistently advocated for the people’s interests, particularly regarding Independent Power Producers (IPPs), without engaging in corruption.
