Jennifer Lopez remains deeply committed to Ben Affleck’s three children despite their ongoing marital challenges.
The singer is reportedly prioritizing quality time with Affleck’s kids—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—following her extended trip to the Hamptons.
“Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about his kids,” a source told People on Monday. “She has always cared about them.”

Lopez, 55, is particularly focused on spending time with Violet before she heads off to college and wants to make the most of their time together before school resumes.
The source noted that Lopez has been genuinely dedicated to making their marriage work, as evidenced by her efforts last year to find the perfect home for their blended family.
Additionally, a source informed Page Six earlier this month that Lopez is distressed about the potential impact their separation could have on their children. “There are five kids involved in this,” the insider said. “She knew they were going to blend families and hasn’t fully accepted that it’s over.”
In June 2023, the couple purchased a 38,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills with plans for their families to live together, but they listed the property for $68 million in July.
Since then, Lopez has been exploring various properties in the same area, while Affleck recently acquired a $20 million equestrian estate in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles.
