The Israeli army has escalated its offensive in northern Gaza amid a crippling siege that has left tens of thousands without access to food or water.
The assault, which commenced on October 5, 2024, has resulted in the deaths of at least 700 Palestinians, with the toll likely to increase as medical teams struggle to reach those trapped under the debris, according to a senior Hamas official.

Osama Hamdan, a prominent Hamas representative in Lebanon, stated in a recorded message, “The Israeli occupation is committing systematic crimes in northern Gaza as part of genocide, including executions, civilian killings, arbitrary detentions, forced evacuations, displacement, starvation, and attacks on hospitals.”
