Israel Urges About 1 Million Gazans To Evacuate In 24 Hours

Israel told over a million Gaza City residents to move south within 24 hours. This came as tanks assembled near Gaza in anticipation of a ground invasion.

Gaza, with a population of 2.3 million, remains under an Israeli siege, enduring airstrikes targeting “Hamas” and resulting in over 1,500 Palestinian casualties.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said, “Now is a time for war,” as Israeli warplanes continued to strike Gaza in response to a weekend attack by Hamas.

US law enforcement increased security, and the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee reported FBI visits.

In Jerusalem, Israelis buried their dead, while in Gaza, cemeteries were full.

Palestinian rescue workers searched for survivors in buildings destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. Gazans have faced economic hardship, recurrent Israeli bombings, and a blockade.

Recent months saw growing Palestinian anger due to Israeli crackdowns and the collapse of the peace process, leaving many feeling hopeless.
