Lahore – July 24, 2025:
The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, has said that the Baloch people share deep ties with Pakistan. These bonds are rooted in religion, culture, history, and tradition.
He made this statement during his visit to King Edward Medical University in Lahore. The university’s faculty, students, and administration gave him a warm welcome.
Speaking to students and teachers, the ISPR chief emphasized that no force can block Pakistan’s progress. He said a small group of terrorists cannot stop the development of Pakistan or Balochistan.
During his address, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif spoke about national unity and the ongoing efforts of the Pakistan Army. He highlighted the success of Operation Baniyan Marsous, which was aimed at fighting hostile elements.
The ISPR Director General credited the support of Pakistan’s youth and the general public for the operation’s success. He noted that this victory was achieved through unity and truth.
He firmly stated that any attempt to harm the country’s peace or development would fail. He also reiterated that Kashmir is Pakistan’s “jugular vein” and will always remain so.
The session ended with students expressing strong support for the armed forces. They also showed interest in more such interactive events in the future.
The ISPR continues to play a key role in sharing the military’s perspective on national matters. Through such engagements, the organization aims to build a better understanding between the armed forces and the public.
