Islamabad Weather: More Rain and Storms expected in Twin Cities

ISLAMABAD – Residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are preparing for another round of rain and strong winds this week as a new weather system approaches.

According to the latest advisory from the Met Office, rain is expected not only in the capital but also across nearby areas such as Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Sargodha. The wet spell may extend to Khushab, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujrat, and Gujranwala.

Showers are also likely in Lahore, Mianwali, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, and Sheikhupura. Isolated thunderstorms may form in parts of Jhang, Noorpur Thal, and Bhakkar.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, affected regions include Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, Swabi, and Mansehra, with further rainfall expected in Abbottabad, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kurram, Khyber, Waziristan, Bannu, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, and Dera Ismail Khan.

Authorities urge residents to remain cautious and take safety measures as weather conditions may shift over the coming days.
