Islamabad Releases Traffic Plan for Tri-Nation Cricket Series

Islamabad Traffic Police has released a traffic advisory for the Tri-Nations Cricket Series, scheduled from November 18 to 29 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Officials said team movements between Islamabad and the venue will impact traffic flow on match days, with more than 300 officers deployed to manage routes.

Authorities warned that the Expressway and Srinagar Highway may experience slowdowns, especially during peak hours. Commuters have been advised to plan extra travel time of 15 to 20 minutes, while police aim to minimize disruptions and will provide live updates through social media and FM 92.4.

Residents have been urged to cooperate with officers during team movements and match timings. In case of emergencies, citizens can contact Police Helpline 15 or the Traffic Helpline at 1915.
