Islamabad Police Strengthen Security Measures for Eid-ul-Fitr
Islamabad police have rolled out a comprehensive security strategy, placing the federal capital on high alert throughout Eid-ul-Fitr. Over 3,500 officers and personnel will be deployed for patrolling and crime prevention, starting from Chaand Raat until the third day of Eid.
Inspector General of Islamabad Police, Syed Nasir Ali Rizvi, emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards aerial firing and hooliganism, ensuring strict legal action against any unlawful activities.

Enhanced Security Measures
To guarantee foolproof security, checkpoints have been established at 18 entry and exit points of the city. Islamabad police have also finalized plans to prevent street crimes, disturbances, and aerial firing, creating a secure environment for residents and visitors.
Safe & Family-Friendly Eid Celebrations
IG Islamabad confirmed that Lake View Park and Daman-e-Koh have been designated as family-only parks, with special police deployment, gate security, and bicycle patrols ensuring a safe experience.
Additionally, over 500 traffic personnel will be on duty to manage smooth traffic flow, while tourists traveling to Murree will receive essential support to prevent congestion or roadblocks.
Advanced Surveillance & Round-the-Clock Monitoring
Islamabad police will monitor the city using body-worn cameras, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems, and GPS trackers. Officers will conduct 24/7 patrolling to deter any illegal activities, ensuring a peaceful and secure Eid for all.
