During the briefing, officials emphasized that enhancing tourism in Islamabad is a top priority, with all necessary resources being mobilized. The proposed Adventure City will include dedicated walkways, cycling tracks, and eco-friendly infrastructure, combining environmental sustainability with recreation.
Chairman Randhawa highlighted that the project would feature soft landscaping, green tree plantation, and visually appealing aesthetics to enhance Islamabad’s parks and natural beauty. A comprehensive strategy is being developed to meet world-class tourism standards, offering a wide array of facilities including national and international food chains, cultural hubs, and tourism-oriented services—all within a single location.
He further stressed that the project will adopt financially and operationally viable models. Importantly, he directed that a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) be installed alongside the park to ensure environmental sustainability.
The Adventure City Park is envisioned as a cutting-edge recreational space, designed to elevate Islamabad’s image as a premier global tourist destination. Chairman Randhawa concluded the session by reaffirming the CDA’s dedication to advancing Islamabad’s development and enriching its tourism and leisure offerings.
