Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday that it had targeted a Mossad intelligence center in Tel Aviv, escalating hostilities between the two nations. State television broadcast a statement claiming the IRGC struck Israel’s military intelligence hub, Aman, and a Mossad operations planning facility, alleging the site was “currently on fire.”
The IRGC also said it launched a large-scale missile attack on Israeli air bases, which it accused of being the origin of airstrikes against Iran. “The regime’s fighter jets have used these bases to attack our country,” the statement read.

Israel Intercepts Majority of Iranian Missiles
Israel’s military reported intercepting “most” of the missiles fired by Iran, with air raid sirens activated in Tel Aviv and northern regions. Authorities urged residents to seek shelter before declaring the all-clear approximately 20 minutes later.
According to emergency services, four people were injured while taking cover. Israel’s advanced air defense systems successfully neutralized most of the projectiles, though some caused material damage in the Tel Aviv area. Earlier in the week, missile strikes hit multiple cities, including Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, and Haifa.
Casualties and Broader Conflict
Israeli officials reported at least 24 deaths and hundreds wounded in recent attacks. Iran, meanwhile, claimed Israeli strikes had killed 224 people, including military personnel and civilians, though it has not updated the toll since Sunday.
The latest exchange follows years of covert hostilities, with Israel launching a surprise air campaign last Friday aimed at countering Iran’s nuclear ambitions—a claim Tehran denies.
Trump Warns Iran’s Leadership
Former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a warning to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating that while the U.S. could target him, it would refrain “for now.” Trump demanded an end to missile attacks on civilians and U.S. forces, declaring, “Our patience is wearing thin,” and calling for “unconditional surrender.”
The conflict continues to intensify, with global observers closely monitoring the potential for further escalation.
